Symbiosis National Aptitude Test – SNAP
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is a national level MBA entrance exam for entrance into Symbiosis colleges. Of these Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune is one of the best B-schools in the country. Institutes like Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) Pune, SIBM Bangalore, and other Symbiosis colleges accept only SNAP scores for admission process.
SNAP is a bit different than other MBA entrance exams as it has a duration of only two hours, which is one hour less than others. This exam is continually evolving, and the pattern changes every few years. It has been altered for this year as well. The number of questions has been brought down to 110 from 130. These will include some special questions that will fetch you twice the marks of a normal question. However, a wrong answer will result in a penalty of 25% of the marks being deducted.
The paper will be divided into three sections, namely, General English, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative, Data Interpretation, and Data Sufficiency. Only the Quantitative, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency will have special questions from this year. Admission will be based on the individual cut-offs for the institutes. These cut-offs will depend on several factors like the difficulty level and the number of people appearing for the exam.
