Common Admission Test – CAT

The Common Admission Test (CAT) exam 2020 is a National level test for admission in a graduate management program

Business administration/management has always been a lucrative career choice, and competition for admission in top B-schools of the country grows every year. Common Admission Test (CAT) should be on top of your priority list if you need to get into the most prestigious B-schools of the country, the IIMs. Apart from IIMs, there is a host of other well-established B-schools that accept CAT score. These include SP Jain Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, IMT Ghaziabad, FMS Delhi, and many others. Getting a good percentile is crucial if you want to see yourself in one of these institutes.

The CAT exam has three components, Data interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), Quantitative Ability (QA), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC), each one equally important. DILR section has 32 questions, while QA and VA each have 34 questions. The time limit is 3 hours, with 1 hour for each section. Each right answer will fetch you three marks while each wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
